The Realtime Transformation of a Woman into a Banshee is a short story by S.E. Ward about a woman named Molly who undergoes a sudden and unexpected transformation into a banshee after she hears the sound of a bell. Molly’s physical body begins to change and she finds herself taking on the characteristics of a banshee, such as the ability to see and hear things that others cannot. She is able to use her newfound powers to prevent a tragedy and help those in need. However, Molly quickly discovers that being a banshee has its drawbacks, as she is unable to control her own powers and is faced with the task of learning how to control them before they consume her. In the end, Molly is able to learn to control her powers, and finds peace in her new identity as a banshee.
