How to read and show BIM/IFC Data with Unreal Engine



In this tutorial video you will learn how to read your BIM/IFC object level information and how to display the information in user interface.

All BIM information is available in Unreal Engine as a Datasmith user data. In this tutorial you will learn how to read that information inside your unreal project. After that you can start to build up your own solution for building information utilization!!!

IFC (Industrial Foundation Classes) is the most common data exchange format in the AEC industry. The IFC data includes information about the geometry, materials, and construction of a building, as well as more abstract data such as schedules, cost information, and energy analysis results.
